Simply contact us to discuss the possibilities. We have conducted numerous studies on the regulation of haemoglobin mass and blood volumes in healthy study volunteers exposed to high altitude, heat, bed rest, exercise training as well as for basic physiological questions.

While we have conducted scientific studies involving chronic kidney disease patients this is an area that we would be particularly keen on developing further since in these as well as in heart failure patients, volume management and drug treatment based on actual blood volume measurements rather than relying on proxy estimations is very promising in terms of clinical outcomes.

Ongoing collaborations include studies on the determinations of haemoglobin mass and blood volumes before and after injections with recombinant human erythropoietin. This specific study is supported by the World Anti Doping Agency and is performed in collaboration with scientists in France. Another exiting collaboration will take us to East Africa in 2018 where we are to determine haemoglobin mass and blood volumes in members of the famous Maasai tribe.
